Robert Beatty, his wife, and their three daughters live in the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. He is currently a full-time writer, but he was once a cloud computing pioneer, the founder/CEO of Plex Systems, co-founder of Beatty Robotics, and CTO and chairman of Narrativemagazine.
