Robert E Coleman

Dr. Robert Coleman is a prolific author and Distinguished Senior Professor of Discipleship and Evangelism at Gordon-Conwell Seminary. He has published hundreds of articles and twenty-one books, including The Master Plan of Evangelism, which has sold millions of copies and is his best-known work. He was the director of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School's School of Global Mission and Evangelism for eighteen years, and he currently serves on the Mission America Facilitation Committee and numerous overseas mission boards, as well as being the president of Christian Outreach. He directed the Billy Graham Center's Institute of Evangelism and served as Dean of the Billy Graham International Schools of Evangelism from 1989 to 2001. He is also a past president of the Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education and a founding member of the Lausanne Committee for Global Evangelism. Spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and maintaining in touch with those he has discipled are two of his personal hobbies.
