Robert J Morgan
Robert Morgan grew raised on a farm in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains and now lives with his wife, Nancy, in an ancient farmhouse outside of Ithaca, New York. He is the author of eleven collections of poetry, including Topsoil Road, and has received numerous awards, including the Campbell- Brockman Poetry Award, the James G. Wilson Poetry Award, and the James G. Wilson Poetry Award. The Fellowship of Southern Writers' Hanes Poetry Award, the Greensboro Review's Amon Liner Poetry Prize, and Poetry magazine's Eunice Tietjens Prize have all been awarded. He's also the author of eight books, including Gap Creek, which was a New York Times Notable Book, an Oprah Book Club Selection, and a Southern Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction winner.
