Sabaa Tahir is the book of the Ember in the Ashes trilogy, which has been translated into over thirty-five languages and is the #1 New York Times bestselling author. Her family owned an eighteen-room motel in California's Mojave Desert, where she grew up. She spent her time there reading fantasy novels, raiding her brother's comic book collection, and attempting to play the guitar horribly.
