Sachiyo Ishii was a Wall Street and London money broker before discovering the joy of crafts after the birth of her second son, and was heavily influenced by the Steiner educational system. She has dabbled in a variety of artistic endeavors, and her Waldorf-inspired dolls and knitted and felted toys are well-known and well-loved. Her work has been published in knitting, crafting, and parenting magazines in the United Kingdom and the United States. Sachiyo is an English artist who lives and works in West Sussex.
