Safiya Umoja Noble is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she also serves as the Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Critical Internet Inquiry. The Intersectional Internet: Race, Sex, Culture, and Class Online, as well as Emotions, Technology, and Design, are both co-edited by her.
