SAM APPLE is a graduate of Columbia University's creative nonfiction MFA program. He grew up in Houston. Apple's work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Forward, and The Jerusalem Report, as well as Salon.com. He is a contributing book editor at Nerve and currently resides in Brooklyn.
