The novels of Santa Montefiore have been translated into twenty languages and sold over three million copies in the United Kingdom and Europe. At Exeter University, she studied Spanish and Italian. She and her two daughters, Lily and Sasha, live in London with her husband, historian Simon Sebag-Montefiore.
