Sara Gillingham is a designer and art director who has won numerous awards. She worked for Chronicle Books as the Design Director for Children's Publishing and taught at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts. For Chronicle, she established the 'In My' series, and for Abrams, she created the Empowering Series. She lives in British Columbia, Canada, with her family.
