Scott Empson

Scott Empson is a professor in the Department of Information Systems Technology at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where he has been teaching for over 20 years. He teaches technical Cisco routing and switching courses as well as professional development and leadership courses. He holds a Master of Education in addition to three undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Education in English/language arts, and a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology in network management. Scott and his wife, Trina, live in Edmonton, Alberta, with their two university-attending children, Zachariah and Shaelyn, who plan to move out as soon as possible after graduation so Dad may reclaim the TV room.
