Scott Meyer started his career in comedy as a stand-up comedian and radio personality, with a highlight being opening for Weird Al Yankovic on his tour for the album Running with Scissors. Meyer relocated to Orlando, Florida, after a lengthy tour of the United States and Canada. He presently creates the comic strip Basic Instructions, and his earlier novels in the Magic 2.0 series include Off to Be the Wizard, Spell or High Water, and An Unwelcome Adventure.
