Stephanie Evanovich started writing fiction while waiting for her cues in a variety of community theater productions. She studied acting at New York's School of Cinema and Television and appeared in many improv troupes as well as a few low-budget films, all in preparation for the most important job she'd ever had: parenting her two sons. She's now a full-time writer with a black belt in tae kwon do and is an avid sports lover.
