Stephen Rollnick

Stephen Rollnick, PhD, is an Honorary Distinguished Professor at Cardiff University's School of Medicine in Wales, United Kingdom. He is a cofounder of motivational interviewing and helped to develop the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (www.motivationalinterviewing.org) after a career in clinical psychology and academics focused on how to improve change talks. He has experience in a variety of sectors, with a focus on mental health and long-term health issues such as diabetes, heart disease, and HIV/AIDS.
