Steve Harvey began doing stand-up comedy in the mid-1980s after writing the books Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success, Act Like a Woman, Think Like a Man, and Straight Talk, No Chaser. As a result of his success as a stand-up comedian, The Steve Harvey Show, a smash show on the WB, has received several NAACP Image Awards. Spike Lee's film The Original Kings of Comedy included him. Steve Harvey hosts a daily chat program on NBC, is the gameshow host for Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud, and most recently NBC's top-rated new show, Little Big Shots, in addition to his nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show. He is the creator of the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, a philanthropic organization. He splits his time between Atlanta and Chicago, Illinois.
