Steven Faerm is the BFA Director of Fashion Design at New York City's Parsons The New School for Design. He was nominated for the coveted Designer of the Year Award during his final year as a Parsons graduate ('94). Upon graduation, he went on to work with Donna Karan and Marc Jacobs, among others. He has been a member of the Parsons faculty since 1998, and in 2008 he was awarded the University Teaching Excellence Award.
