Studio Ghibli

Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki created Studio Ghibli, a Tokyo-based animation film studio, in 1985. My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, and the Academy Award-winning Spirited Away are among the studio's more than 20 feature-length films, many of which have received multiple awards and critical acclaim. The Wind Rises, The Legend of the Princess Kaguya, When Marnie Was There, and The Red Turtle were all nominated for Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature Picture in the last four years.
