Suzanne Lazear is the author of the young adult series Aether Chronicles. In addition to writing for teenagers, Lazear conducts talks about the steampunk subgenre at conferences across the country, complete with all the bells and whistles. She's a regular contributor to Steamed!, a steampunk-themed blog. Lazear graduated from Pepperdine University with a master's degree in public policy. She resides in Los Angeles with her family.
