Sy Montgomery is a naturalist, documentary scriptwriter, and the author of thirty-one critically praised nonfiction books for adults and children, including The Soul of an Octopus, a National Book Award finalist, and The Good Good Pig, a New York Times bestseller. She resides in New Hampshire with her husband, writer Howard Mansfield, and a border collie.
