Wesleyan University Books published The Pleasure of Cooking [AIRPORT NOVEL MUSICAL POEM PAINTING FILM PHOTO HALLUCINATION LANDSCAPE], INSOMNIA WITH THE AUNT (Kenning Editions, 2011), and HEATH COURSE PAK (Counterpath Press, 2012). Conjunctions, Artforum, Cabinet, New York Times Book Review, Art in America, and Purple are just a few of the publications that have published his work. The Marianne Boesky Gallery, Yale Art Museum, Sophienholm Museum (Copenhagen), Ontological Hysterical Theatre, and the Whitney Museum of American Art's Soundcheck Series have all shown his video, theatrical, and LCD work. Lin was awarded a Getty Distinguished Scholar Grant in 2004-2005, as well as a Warhol Foundation/Creative Capital Arts Writing Grant to finish a book-length examination of Andy Warhol's writings. He has taught at the University of Virginia and the California Institute of the Arts, and he is currently a creative writing instructor at New Jersey City University.
