Tate Hallaway, a Scorpio with a Leo Rising, is an amateur astrologer and practicing Witch. Since she first read Poppy Z, Tate has been a devotee of vampire fiction. Brite was a senior in high school. Her first short story was accepted by Nocturnal Pleasure Vampire Coven, a vampire zine. Tate and his three black cats live in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
