Ice Dogs, Sled Dog School, and Survivor Diaries, a series for hesitant readers (HMH), are among Terry Lynn Johnson's middle school adventures based on her experiences in the wilds of northern Ontario, Canada. She is an award-winning member of the Outdoor Writers of Canada and currently works for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry as a Conservation Officer.
