Timothee de Fombelle is a well-known French dramatist whose debut novel, Toby Alone, and its sequel, Toby and the Secrets of the Tree, were both international bestsellers. He worked as a teacher before founding his own theater company in 1990. Timothee de Fombelle lives in Paris with his family.
