Van Jones is the founder and president of Rebuild the Dream, a groundbreaking movement to bring good jobs and economic opportunity back to the United States. Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Color of Change, and Green For All are three of his successful organizations. Jones is the author of The Green Collar Economy, a New York Times best book. A Yale-educated attorney, Van served as the Obama White House's green jobs advisor in 2009. He assisted in the management of an inter-agency procedure that monitored the allocation of $80 billion in green recovery funds. Jones was named one of the world's 100 most important persons by Time Magazine.

With his wife and two children, he lives in Los Angeles. Rebuild the Dream is a strategy and action center that is quickly establishing itself as a vital player in the battle to save America's middle class.
