Vincent Simeone (Oyster Bay, NY) is a horticultural consultant, lecturer, and author of books and magazine articles with extensive experience. He received his education and training in the subject of ornamental horticulture at the University of Georgia, where he studied under world-renowned academics Dr. Allan Armitage and Dr. Michael Dirr. Simeone continued his study by earning a master's degree in public administration from C.W. Post University. Upon graduation from Long Island University. In addition to his media appearances, Simeone is the director of the Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Site, where he practices what he preaches when it comes to sustainable gardening.
