C.V.Wedgwood was an English historian who specialized in seventeenth-century European history and lived from 1910 to 1997. She is the author of The Thirty Years War, The King's Peace, The King's War, and William the Silent: William of Nassau, Prince of Orange, 1533-1584, among other essays, biographies, and narrative histories.
