Wendy Pearlman is a Northwestern University lecturer. She speaks Arabic and has lived and studied in the Arab world for over two decades, including Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. She has published two outstanding books about the Palestinian national movement, in addition to dozens of pieces about the Middle East. She was a Fulbright Scholar and a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government's Belfer Center after receiving her education at Harvard, Georgetown, and Brown. She currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
