Wiley Cash is the author of A Place More Kind Than Home, This Dark Road to Mercy, and The Last Ballad, all of which have been New York Times bestsellers. He was a nominee for the PEN/Robert W. Woodward Prize and won the SIBA Book Award and the Conroy Legacy Award. He has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Bingham Prize and the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Novel. He is the Alumni Author-in-Residence at the University of North Carolina Asheville, and he is a native of North Carolina. He and his wife, photographer Mallory Cash, live in Wilmington, North Carolina, with their two daughters.
