Dr. William H. Farrell is a Licensed Psychologist-Doctorate with over 35 years experience, who worked for many years in private practice in South Burlington, Vermont. He was raised in Connecticut, where he was a football and track standout at Wilton High School and also managed to get his private pilot's license at age 18. While attending Wesleyan University he concentrated on Olympic style weightlifting and progressed to place fourth in the Teenage Nationals and qualified for the 1964 Olympic Trials. Because steroids were legal at the time and it wasn't possible to be competitive without using them, he decided to stop competitive lifting and immersed himself further in the study of psychology and earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Vermont.
