Wole Soyinka

Wole  Soyinka

In 1986, Wole Soyinka was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. He is a Fellow of the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute and the Woodruff Professor of the Arts at Emory University in Atlanta. DuBois Center at Harvard, and New York University's Africana Studies Program and the Institute of African-American Affairs just named him the inaugural Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence.
