Yumi Sakugawa is the author of I Think I Am In Friend-Love With You and Your Illustrated Guide To Being One With The Universe, both of which have been nominated for Ignatz Awards. Her work has also appeared in The Rumpus, Folio, Fjords Review, and other magazines, including The Believer, Bitch, the Best American Non-Required Reading 2014, The Rumpus, Folio, and Fjords Review. Her multimedia installations have also been on display at the Japanese American National Museum and the Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building. She is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles' fine art program and currently resides in the city.
