Zainab Salbi is a humanitarian, novelist, and media figure who has dedicated her life to the advancement of women's rights and freedom. Salbi is the founder and former CEO of Women for Women International, a grassroots humanitarian and development organization dedicated to assisting women war survivors financially and emotionally reconstruct their lives. Salbi has written a number of novels, including the national bestseller Between Two Worlds: Escape from Tyranny: Growing Up under Saddam's Shadow. She's been included in People magazine's 25 Women Shaping the World, Foreign Policy magazine's 100 Leading Global Thinkers, and Fast Company's The Most Creative People in Business, among other publications. Salbi is the host of The Nida Show, a talk show for Arab and Muslim women, as well as The Zainab Salbi Project, a HuffPost original series, and #MeToo, Now What?
