Zee Ginger

From Good Morning America to World News Tonight, Ginger Zee serves as ABC News' Chief Meteorologist, forecasting and reporting on the nation's weather. Zee has been on the ground before, during, and after practically every significant meteorological event, including Hurricane Katrina, and scores of historic storms. She was present for the devastating tornadoes in Moore and El Reno, Oklahoma, when the eye of Superstorm Sandy moved over Atlantic City and subsequently blanketed the ravaged Jersey Shore; she was present for the Colorado floods and wildfires; and she was present for the devastating tornadoes in Moore and El Reno, Oklahoma. Zee's interest in science began while he was a child, watching violent thunderstorms rage across Lake Michigan. Her interest in meteorology led her to stormchase while she was a student at Valparaiso University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in meteorology. Zee has dedicated her career, and notably this book, to inspiring young people to be interested in science while also protecting the environment and surroundings around them.
