It spans a period of about fifty four years and includes real and imaginary people. It implies that God is not yet finished with any of us. Charles R. (Dick) Stillwell was born in Independence, Mo.. Early education took place in the Rock Creek, Kansas City, and Raytown School Districts. At the age of ten he received Christ as Lord and Savior of his life. He studied architecture at Kansas State University. He graduated from Central Missouri State University with B.A. in Sociology and a minor in English. After surrendering to the Gospel Ministry he obtained a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dick has been in the ministry for fifty four years. He was pastor of seven churches in Missouri, one church in Sarasota, Fl. and retired in July of 2006 from Choestoe Baptist Church located in the mountains of Georgia. He has served two churches in North Carolina, He has interests in building and design, antique furniture and auto restoration, model railroading, woodworking, writing preaching, teaching and evangelism.
