Our kids devoured this book!
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
It is so easy for children to read and makes a real impression on how they can participate in a happy healthy home. It is critical that parents have the original book, 1-2-3 magic, and the workbook that goes with it, as it gives tools that give life to the plan. We love it and after being around the books for only a short time, we see an amazing progress. Our children, 9 and 10, devoured the book and have been willing to put it into practice. Get this and have a happy parenting!

Highly recommended!!

After reading this book, my child was excited about this program. To catch a kid excited about a discipline program feels like an oxymoron, but this book does a great job of attracting their attention! Would recommend it to anyone hoping for changes in both their children's parenting and their own behavior! Make sure that you also pick up the parent version! Hey! ''

One of my little elementary clients actually likes this book so much that she grabs it to read when she is directed into time-out.

It is told in a story book fashion that children can relate to easily. We read it a number of times and our son loves it. He reminds me if I deviate from the structure of the book!

Solid Purchase for families starting 1-2-3 Magic
Derived From Web , Jan 22, 2021
I purchased this book for my children to better understand the program 1-2-3 magic. He does like longer books, such as Beranstain Bears'books, but most children who enjoy reading should be fine with this book. My 2 year old also listened and sat nicely for it, but I am sure that she didn’t quite understand the book like my 3 year old who asked questions actively. I did switch some language a few times so that he understood better, but otherwise it was good. I am glad that I purchased it. For the length, we read a few chapters before naptime each day along with a few simple books. We didn 't try to rush them through it.

My kids *ask* to read this book
Derived From Web , Jul 10, 2019
I did not expect my 4 and 7 year olds to be this enthusiastic about a book that tells them to listen to their parents. I let them open the Amazon box with great fanfare, we read the first two chapters and they begged for the book for three consecutive days until we finished it. If that is not a validation of how well this book was written, I don 't know what is. We have the grown-up version for us and this version for them. Brilliant!

For older kids
Derived From Web , Jun 30, 2019
My children were too young to go through the book with them to many words and hard for little ones to focus. My children are 10 months and 6 years old, but my 6 year old has a very hard time focusing on anything, but that is another problem we're working on.

In my opinion this was a total waste of money
Derived From Web , Aug 28, 2017
In my opinion, this was a total waste of money. The book would be a fraction of the size of their spent less time telling you how great the book is and more time devoted to techniques. My Kindergarten teacher recommended Parenting with Love and Logic for my Grandsons. In the first few minutes, I had more help than in the first three chapters of the other book. This helps you to hope.
