   My Grandson loves this book
My 2 and half year old grandson loves this book. He learned to count using this daily, although he says 5teen, instead of 15, this book helped him learn and count up to 20.
   The book was a disappointment.
Counting up to 20 is too much trouble for toddlers. I have known kindergarteners and 1st graders who struggle with counting in double digits. The physical quality of the book was generally poor.
Indeed, great book indeed, highly recommended for toddlers, includes additional activities. My daughter enjoyed this a lot. Please give it a try.
   Could have used more thought
On the adjectives, better choices could have been made. The kitten that it shows is sleeping, not sleepingy. Cake - Donuts are not really sticky. Flower could be described as Dainty, but how many toddlers use this word? The eggs are really distributed, to be sure, but again, of all the words taught, maybe something more often would have been better. And then there are a LOT of junk food items. Eleven muffins, thirteen cookies and fourteen cakes are included. The sixteen strawberries are fine except that they are called berries instead. And what is it with the four blank pages at the back of the book? Seems like they could have filled them more with activity suggestions than wasting that paper. In total, the book is enjoyed by any young child, but there are a lot of missed opportunities here.
