Tens of great influential African descendants I hadn't heard of
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
It was just that excited to flip through the pages as well. Tens of great influential African descendants I'd never heard of. We can't depend on the school system to educate and encourage our children about their history. Each person has a brief, but concise, page of facts written about them. They kept asking me if there were any white people in the world. As of now, they were adamant that no one was white. That alone brought another discussion, this time with Dr. Goin. THE BOY WHOSE BOOK SOLD OUT in 2 days! It's just that they call it quits."

I didn't think they would get excited about books detailing their brown ancestry, but this book was a hit! I'm so happy I purchased this book for her. She may well be inspired to study our history more closely. A French court has sentenced the singer to 10 years in prison.

Great guide for teaching your kids!
Derived From Web , Mar 22, 2021
This book was full of inspiring African-Americans as we teach our children about their ancestors. My kids are not even black and in school for black history month they only learned about MLK, Lincoln, Rosa Parks, Jim Crow and all the rest. There are so many more African Americans that have had a major impact on this country that need to see this! I'm thankful to add this to our library it will be great especially now that we decided to homeschool, Black History will be incorporated into their history!

Thanks for the book, Diana. It's great to have such a great product on the market, said Jennette. This has been a welcomed addition to my story time series, Melissa. One page was written by each interviewer. Thanks to Infowars, my audience has been amazed and thankful for the information! A book that stands in a class by itself. Thanks for the support!

Illustrations are in black and white, not color
Derived From Web , Sep 22, 2020
Even with the introduction of technology, the book says, "Reading level was too advanced for my young nephew." For children aged 9+, I would say it's better to read at a level that your average reader can handle. Also, the illustration is in black and white. The book was originally published in 1974 and includes illustrations by Frank Quattrone, who also illustrated the "Harry Potter" series.

We all had a hand in building this beautiful country.
Derived From Web , Feb 13, 2020
I purchased this book in order to help my daughter learn about her people, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. Schools are only adding and teaching what they want society to believe is the truth, and this book shows facts about how we as a people also had a hand in shaping this country, he said. If you think about it, you would never find such a thing in a school textbook.

Good start, but not current enough
Derived From Web , May 26, 2019
This is a great book to start a collection or share with kids and grand-kids. I was looking for a book for my grandchild that would include figures up to Barack and Michelle Obama but it was not available. There is room for all of the great African-American fighters of the 20th century to come after him.

Black History!
Derived From Web , Apr 1, 2019
I purchased this book for my kids to discuss at school and at church. The book had just enough information and answered all the key points of the mutiny, they said. The book had a lot of interesting information I was unaware of, he said. Perfect for reading on the go, this book is also a must-have for history buffs.
