I bought this book the same time I bought her second book, Let's all be brave. This book was a perfect devotional for me. He has some great little nuggets of wisdom along with a daily challenge.

Relatable and helpful!

I've never met anyone more relatable. She writes and speaks from her heart, and it took courage to do so. Her bravery will inspire you to rise up and be brave in your own life, he said. Super quick devotionals that leave you thinking about your applications. A great book, Gillian.

Be Brave

When I told her what I was doing, she asked me to be brave with her. Glad she did!, said Dr. Julie D. DeVries. That was great, said Blair, who completed the 100 Days of Brave today. Great devotional with good stories, he said. I've done daily challenges, but I'm not a competitive eater.

It’s all about the author.

The idea behind this devotional is great, 100 days of growing in bravery and learning more about yourself, Graham said. Each day's devotional only contains 1 verse, the author's personal story behind that day's theme, and a reflection question. Devotionals are supposed to use God's word to lead you to a new understanding, he said. The author primarily uses her personal experiences and stories. I'd rather not learn about her life. I want to learn more about God's word and how I can apply it in my own life, he wrote.

Extremely “surface†- don’t recommend
Derived From Web , Oct 13, 2018
I've had some good friends and I'm not a fan. When I'm reading a devotional I expect something that makes me dive into my bible, feel a bit convicted and make me think about it the rest of the day. This book is extremely “surface†and is more about this woman talking about her stories and then asking a question that has no point at the end of each day, said Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Encouraging & Uplifting 😊

She also tells us why it's important for us to persevere even when we don't understand why we're here. She shows us by example that everything in our lives is connected to and with purpose, encouraging us to be brave, trusting God in every season or plateau we face. Some critics have said the book is too long, even though the writer touts 1,000+ pages. There are no rules governing this forum, nor do we have an official policy. I didn't use this study as a 100 day study. I read through and highlighted different parts of the book, quotes and references, and plan on now going back and journaling what I've highlighted. This is my way of planting what I've learned I believe this book is well worth the read!

I'm not a huge fan of this book. I was really excited about it, and I felt I had to have it, Sosa said. I thought the book held no substance and was very useful to the CIA, Rumsfeld said. The explanations were juvenile and lacked depth. Pages and pages lacked detailed examples but rather a broad view of bravery without zeroing in on actually being brave.

Anne Frank encouraged readers to be brave and step out when God called them to do so. It was very challenging, but I absolutely love it. It was everything that I needed during that season with the Lord, he said. This book is highly recommended.

I just finished the book and I love the words of wisdom Annie Downs put into it. She uses so much encouragement and scripture to show you that you are brave, she said. This is a great read if you are looking for a devotional to raise your confidence and belief in yourself.
