   Great to inspire trip ideas!
I gave this as a present. I looked at it in the store first to see what was inside, Morgenthau said. It has beautiful pictures, where and what to look for and what time of year is best, it has recommendations. After my brother in law opened it we found my father-in-law looking through it, thinking my wife had got him a ticket to Vegas. I also want to buy it for myself, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   So Informative about Hikes Internationally
He also said that he's in love with the book and the photos. It includes hikes in other countries he's always wanted to do and well, some he hadn't entertained before reading about them in this book.

   So inspiring
I've read a lot of travel books, but this is by far the best. If you love outdoor travel, you should definitely own a copy of this book. I believe it will inspire our vacations for many years to come.

A hiking book without a map!
I wish I had read more reviews before buying it. It's just a get to know book. Unlike other books I purchased where it detailed all of the vital information, they provided maps and even the gps coordinates so you know exactly where they started the hike. This book has none of that important iformation. It's basically just for reading description, but nothing you can't find in the internet. The fact that it refers to “scenic trails” without a statement on where and how to see all the listed scenic trails is a gross misnomer. It is indeed “Hikes of a lifetime” because it may take you a lifetime to find where to start the hike or get lost and take lifetime to find your way back, Garton said.

Beautiful photos on top of useful trail guides.
Very well written and well worth the money to try out some of the world's best singletrack. Nat Geo has done a great job of translating the photos into English. Note that this is not a detailed trail guide, so don't expect to carry this heavy, hard-covered book on your backpacking trip. I use it as a book of inspiration and research.

Will make you want to get out there
It's great to see the movie's stars overcome adversity and reach new heights through giant backpacking hikes Like the Appalachian Trail. I was looking for list-worthy day hikes. The photos are amazing, Mr. Dhaliwal said. hope to experience a few, Mr. Dhaliwal said.
