   Love it!
I like this book a lot. The pages look fun. I like the use of photography in this instead of just illustrations of cartoons. It seems easy but there are also some challenging ones. The book is fun.

I think I have used the most of the reading books. I needed to help my son catch up, we had a bad Kindergarten class that left him behind in his new school. This one helps bring him back up to speed.

More than just a list of 100 words!!
I ordered this to be a review for my son before he starts school. The words have all been on point. Not hard or easy. The list of 100 words is not just a list of 100 words, it is also a list of pages that are nice. It reminds my son of school work, but as a certified teacher, I like it as a home reference and extra tool.

   Not what we wanted!
The layout of the book is disappointing, it gives words in groups on one page and then moves on to different lessons. I was looking for a way to teach the words by group.

   Helpful book for kids
It's a great book to use since we have some practice before school starts. It's a good idea for the little ones to practice at home.

Good little study book for kindergarten/first grade kids
This is a good study book for a child. My granddaughter just finished kindergarten. This book is helping her improve her comprehension and word recognition, as she was having difficulties with reading.

   Confusing and Strange
I don't understand how this book can be used. I don't know if my child is supposed to read the sentences to me or not. The ridiculous old fashioned g that looks like swimming goggles is being used. How is coloring a panda picture different depending on what word starts with and what letter helps them to read or learn the words? I don't think it's a good idea to learn to read with this resource, it's more for kids who already know how to read. If your child is already reading, have them read actual stories that are enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend this product. The layout is appealing and has fun pictures, so I'm giving it a star.

Love this setup! Perfect for step-by-step learning!
This is a great book, love it. It is inexpensive, but it is not very long. Our child who is in between K4 and K5 is learning how to read. Helping with sight word practice, going great. It makes learning a better experience when they are enjoying it. I enjoy the variety of activities provided. The next two books for grades 2 and 3 will be purchased by me.

   Not quite as advertised.
A few pages is what this book had. It didn't have much. It's not a good book to use for a kid who needs additional help with school or the summer. It's best for a quick fun activity for a kid who likes to do these things. I would not have paid more than 99 if I had known how little the book was. We're clear on the directions for the activities.
