   Wonderful book!!
My daughter is really enjoying to play Disney songs on her flute! But she has the ability to play most songs after just a few practice sessions. She is practicing all the time, which is awesome! A new book about the Beatles, "Reunion" by Simon & Schuster.

   Love it!
It was a present from my daughter who I'm just now teaching her how to play the flute. It's definitely a little too advanced for her because she's only 10, but she has a very good level of technique, said Dr. Goin. For me, the whole thing is a blast. It was great because my kids would recognize the songs and would sing along to them as I played. I've been playing piano for about 30 years so the music is easy to read and play, he said.

   Great for beginning flautist!
My daughter is a first year flute player and was getting bored just playing the pieces in her school book, so I bought this for her to try out. She was able to work on several of the pieces, but others will take some time to complete. It is perfect for her skill level and she likes playing with it, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   Basic melodies
If you know the songs well, it would probably be very easy, but there's very little musical direction so if you don't know the songs it can be a little more challenging. The harmonies are spot-on, the melodies are catchy. If you think you can just cue up the movie or soundtrack and play along, it might not work. Only with one song did I try it. Although, one song in the book is in the key of G, so maybe some of them are because why else would you do that?

It's great to see a book like this come out. I am getting back into playing flute after a decade away and this book is perfect for me. There are also songs for beginners to the intermediate level. None of the songs is difficult, McCartney said. Before you can properly understand the Beatles, you must know some music theory.

It was my daughter's 12th birthday and I wanted to give her something to do with it. She even played one for her school's recital. And her big sister has snagged the book on more than one occasion. Money well spent.
