   Great Supplemental Material
The book has great supplementary material. I would not use this book as my priority teachers - teaching tool, not enough time or enough detail lessons. It is really not organized to the common core, so you need to look around for the subject that you might be teaching. The articles are funny and the kids enjoy them. The sections are short and just to the point with 3 to 4 questions. It is very easy to find and use all the answers in the back.

   180 Days of Reading 5TH Grade
This is everything I hoped for my child and more. There are many texts and pages to read + so much information. How to evaluate the book and ways to use the learning and scores of your child. To reference, digital resources are provided : I highly recommend this and will purchase it again for 6TH grade next year.

   Good Book - For First Grade
For a 5th school student, the book is way too simple. I am using it for my daughter, who is an advanced reader going into the 1st grade. For her, it is still fairly easy, but not completely trivial - she needs to think or ask about 10% of the Vocab, Grammar and Questions. I find this to be helpful for her and she likes it. Normally she goes in a 15 minute sitting through a “weeklong”. This is 3 short texts and a slightly longer. This series is generally known for its multiple questions, because they are often in a 4 way wrong. It's a waste of time to do them. This book continues the trend for the 5th graders. But for a 1st grader, some of them need at least a cursory thought or sometimes a reread. The book is useful in general, and not overly taxing, but only for at most 2nd graders ''. I would not recommend this book for an average 5th grade student.

   Good series
This is a very beautiful series of reading exercises. Since the beginning of this summer, I have used books for fourth and fifth graders with my nine-year-old son, who moves to the fourth grade that fall. However, the readings seem a little too easy for the kid. I think that adding some classic literature pieces may make the exercises more challenging. In general, I am happy with the book series.

   I like this book but the questions maybe a bit easy
I liked this book, it is just the right book for my son. His reading comprehension is not very good and questions in this book are easier than the other books we have purchased, so that he feels confident in handling this book. If you want more difficult questions, this book is probably not for you. I also like how they are expected to practice a piece every week, which really helps them write writing too.

   Easy to Use Format, Balanced Workbook
Currently I use this to teach my 5th Grade student in reading skills, and am impressed with the arrangement and ease of the lessons. I like the rotation of non-fiction and fiction lessons, the repetition of words and the questions about all major reading skills, like cause and effect and monitoring. There is also a good selection of Vocab and Grammar skills. It is great to use as a fluency exercise, and there are charts to track growth and skill strengths and challenges.

   180 Days of Practice
I received the book and have noticed that many of the questions seem to be right there questions after skimming. This means that the reader is not pressured to draw conclusions or infer information. Many of these passages would be appropriate as morning work or do nows, but would not offer enough beefy practice to be deemed beneficial for preparing students for the NYS ELA exam. The book does have its merits, but as far as being a real challenge, it is no way.

   Provides practice in many higher skills and fluency.
I use this book for reading - remediation in special education. It gives the students plenty of time to practice. For fluency practice, I use the longer texts at the end of the week. Since using this book and the ones for the lower levels, I have seen massive growth in my students. This provides excellent lessons in remediation, added to phonics - lessons.
