Great additional reading practice, right for 5 & 6th graders
I tried a few different practice books with my 5th grader and I think this has the best balance. The 180 day reading series organizes reading practices by week. Every day has a reading paragraph with multiple choice questions on Monday to Thursday. On Friday, it is writing a response. The multiple choice questions varies in difficulty and type. It covers grammar, word meaning, and comprehension skills. It also has 180 pages, meaning that if you ask your kid to do 5 pages a week, it will keep them busy all year round.

Good training for any kid needing to sharpen her reading comprehension skills
It is a great program to improve your verbal skills for any sixth-grader. We have been doing it during the quarantine recess, one week of exercise per day. It is doable to complete it in about 2 hours, so that it perfectly serves the purpose. It comes with the CD, but online access would be better. It would also be great to have the 7th and 8th grade versions.

   Daughter really enjoys them
My daughter really enjoys this book, and all 180 days of the books. She is definitely learning new things and it is not an overwhelming amount of work. We added homeschool and have this all added this year and I'm happy that we did.

Great resource for assessing/teaching reading comp.
This book is absolutely lovable! The journeys are short, so that they don 't take up much time, and there is an assessment at the end of every week.

   Best Reading Comp Book Ever
As a retired educator, I found this book to be the best reading comprehension book I have ever used. What I liked best about the book is that each week starts with a topical subject and focuses on it for four days, and then there is a writing prompt on the fifth day that allows students to write about the topic they have been reading all week. It is a wonderful tool for students who struggle with reading comprehension.

My kids love this! We bought it for summer review
My children love it! We bought it for the summer review. They do a little every day and I don 't even have to ask them to do it.

A fantastic tool to strengthen reading comprehension skills.
I am a second year homeschooler and was looking for something that would strengthen my son's comprehension skills, but not terribly overwhelming. I love the format ''.
