   Simple
She can read the contents and likes to learn from the book. But I skip some of the open end questions, which could be better for first graders.

   This book is a joke
This book would not even challenge a 3rd year old. Each page is a simple boring statement, followed by 2 dead brain questions. Example : a child is in his house during a thunderstorm and the lights go out so he grabs his flashlight. The following question is, What is a flashlight? This isn 't anything that will inspire or educate a child about science.

   Not boring
I decided to receive this book after my kid received 2 stars for all the science indicators on his report card. The book is very easy to use and is well sectioned. My kid did it without being bored and he learned well.

   Worthless
I have purchased this and the book Social Studies as well. I even got a lower grade above my daughter and the content is just so simple. For example, What should you do with your drink if you don 't want to burn your mouth? Wait for it to be cool. It is very fast to drink. C. Drink it slowly. It is drunk with a straw. They ask three sentences of info and then give silly questions. The very fact that it is a common core aligned should have kept me away. They are just busy working.

   Good but easy
I believe it has good information, but the questions I think are a bit easy. My 4.5 yr old does this book with minimal assistance.
