   Truly Biased
This is not at all an objective history of the country. This is a sugar-coated, almost misleading version of the events. It gives a young child the impression that the Indians died insignificantly of government actions and relegates their defeat to losing a football game.

   Good supplement
This book would not be able to be used by itself for homeschooling, which I purchased when I was questioning and wanted to indicate in this review. I do like this book, but I wish there was more content for each lesson. In my opinion, the answers should always be somewhere in the text, and that is not always the case with this book. I also wish it would indicate a review page so that my daughter knows to look back at what she has learned to get the answers. Over all, it is a good supplement. We started second grade history early and finished this book just as extra and are now halfway through. A page takes her content only about 10-20 minutes depending on the content.

   horrible
Instead, it is written from an incredibly biased perspective. I would never teach my children from this garbage unless I was trying to indoctrinate them. I teach my children facts and teach them to be instead critical thinkers.

   Finally a curriculum that works!
This curriculum I love! My ADHD - son does the work in double time. I am so grateful for this education!

   Biased and out of date
Didn 't tell the complete story... very skewed. I return as I will not teach this kind of rhetoric to my children.

3
   Uncomfortable
They could have chosen words like people from England, but instead chose to use the term white people. I can not use it in my classroom, even if it is true.

   Top notch resource
These books are LOVE 180 days ''. This book of social studies of the 3rd grade is one of my favorites. Even if your child is above the 3rd grade, it is in my opinion a great preparation for higher learning and life in general. Importantly, useful concepts are covered. I haven 't seen anything like them elsewhere. They are an excellent adjunct to any curriculum. I am truly grateful for this resource and give it my highest recommendation.

   Great For Homeschool
Day to day - Curriculum is excellent. Very helpful in trying to give work on a day to day basis and follow the 180-day school calendar. While still teaching what has to be taught every day without being frustrated, these books are perfect.
