I wished I had these types of books when I was young. Although the school system has somewhat fallen apart, the school system has remained somewhat separate. We have now returned to homeschool. And these books are excellent to have on hand!

Great workbook!

I love how the lessons are not too long or too short for my kid to work through. He doesn 't like to write a whole lot, but he has no problem with completing the assignments.

Ease of use!

This works great for my kids. Our county adopted a ELA curriculum with no spelling and we use it for grades 3-5.

180 days of Spelling.....
Derived From Web , Dec 28, 2020
With Coronavirus and all the chaos, I decided to homeschool my third grader. This curriculum is definitely something easy to use, but I used Abeka and nothing compares quite. I wish the books were intertwined and they are not by themselves. Meaning that you need to add them, but so good so far. Definitely worth the money.

This book hits all the major word patterns that third graders should master. It has been particularly useful with the change to virtual learning in the last 6 months.

Grade 3 book is too hard for 3rd graders. Better for 5th graders.
Derived From Web , Sep 5, 2020
After reading reviews, I used this 3rd grade book with my 5th grade homeschooler, after reading reviews, that the vocabulary was too hard. The people were right! I used to be a 5th grade public school teacher in both Illinois and Florida and I agree that Grade 3 is more suitable for 5th grade children. Even my 7th grade child asks me what some of these words mean, and this kid has extensive vocabulary. So buy the 3rd Grade Book for 5th Grade students. The book itself is great! I give it to them for something to work on independently while I am working with their sibling. They do it by themselves and don 't ask me a ton of questions about directions because the directions are clear and they understand what to do easily.

The Best of all of them
Derived From Web , Jun 20, 2020
The only book that my daughter loved out of all the 180 books was : She said it is fun and it is interactive. The book 180 is so boring and repetitive.

Not pleased
Derived From Web , Sep 18, 2019
So disappointed with this series of the books. I purchased my 4 older children and homeschooled them as fillers for their actual curriculum. Explanations are lacking, there is very little if any teaching in the book and you can not just explain their work, you have to do each assignment before they can do it. I bought 3 for the 3rd grade, 3 for the 5th grade and 4 for the kindergarten. Some are on Amazon and some are on another site. , I bought the spectrum literally and these are going to be scrapped. If you were teaching a child and had a ton of time, these might work for you, but not ideal for the average person.
