Grammar Errors
Derived From Web , Oct 13, 2021
“The adjective helps make the writing more interesting â€, is a direct quote from the answer key in this book, which claims to teach subjectverbal agreement. This isn 't the first error with subjectverb in this workbook. This is at least the second error of this type, and we are in the week 7 of 180 days.

Added to our homeschooling curriculum
Derived From Web , Jan 14, 2021
For our homeschooler, just one page a day. That is it takes all 5 pages a week for the subject of writing. As far as the subject matter is concerned, right on target. It has been working well for us this year.

Should Rename This Series
Derived From Web , Nov 6, 2020
I bought this book and the fifth grade one for my children for homeschooling. I don 't consider writing check marks next to boxes a day of writing. In the beginning, my kids were excited to have something new for writing, but by the end of the second week, they were dreading doing these books. I put them on the shelves and will not use them anymore. I am not sure how these books got such a high rating.

Well organized and CD-ROM included!
Derived From Web , Sep 11, 2018
I've ordered this for my daughter to use for our homeschool. I liked how it gave specific tasks for each day, rather than a writing prompt. The themes are interesting to her and challenge her to write about things she wouldn t naturally choose to write about. But why I really give a positive review is that it comes with a CD-ROM!!! No MORE roxing papers! My printer can print them directly from the disc! The entire workbook is located there. I can print pages for her to complete, but have the book next to me. I might be geeking out a bit... but it's something I didn't expecting in my purchase, but am so happy to have!

This is an amazing resource for teachers
Derived From Web , Dec 17, 2017
This is an amazing site for teachers. You do need to have prior knowledge about how to teach narrative, informational and opinion forms of writing. The curriculum spirals and alignments to CCSS, which is great for students with limited attention spans. You can teach the content in small bites and it is really evident when the student progresses or mastered the standard. It is also a great tool for drawing standards-based data and using the data to plan the next steps for instruction.
