An ancient Chinese legend: Once there was a man who knew 100,000 healing properties of herbs. He taught his son 80,000 secrets. On his deathbed, he told his son to visit his grave in five years, and there he would find the other 20,000 secrets. When the son went to his father's grave, he found, growing on the site, the tea shrub.
Teas are the gentle, natural, most beneficial way to absorb the healing properties of herbs--easily and inexpensively. A simple cup of tea not only has the power to soothe and relax but to deliver healing herbal agents to the bloodstream more quickly than capsules, tinctures, or infusions. Feeling tired?    like liver, kidneys
I bought this for my sister for Christmas because she loves tea and using different kinds for their health - promoting properties. This book is cool because it is organized by different human issues, from stress to skin problems to your immune system. You can read about all the different ways tea has been shown to help different organs of the body, like the liver, kidneys, brain etc. But it is written at a layman's level. This book is for any person who enjoys tea and is interested in how to use its herbal medicine properties to benefit their health.

   BEST Go-To Tea Book!
BEST Go-To-Tea Book! I am SO happy that I bought this book. Then it breaks down each herb and gives a little history on it and how it is used, what parts of the plant are used, what it is used for and also lets you know that a herb should not be used longer than a certain amount of time or if certain people shouldn't use it, etc. This great book is full of small information. When I bought this book I ordered several other tea books as well and I actually haven t read the others because this one seems to have all the info I need and is easy to read when I am on the market and want to know about a certain herb. It is a great little book. I highly recommend ''.

   Wondeful World of Tea
This book provides a very detailed, well-rounded description of how many teas can be used for internal and external ailments as well as general health maintenance. I particularly appreciate how the author provides the many names quite a few of these teas may fall under. It is a simple book that gets right to the nuts and bolts of how the simple act of drinking tea can save you a trip to the drugstore or a doctor's office.

Sip your way to health, yea!
The books came as expected, timely and pristine. I already gave six away to family and friends. Great reference for many many herbs, common or uncommon, and their effects on health. For an even easier reference, I marked the edges of the pages. My wife is now making tea blends every day.

   Great Book!
This book was recommended to me by my niece, who practices chinese herbal medicine, including teas. I have encouraged several of my co-workers who are tea drinkers to read this book. I even purchased two additional books to give them as gifts.

   Teatime
An appropriate guide to teas and their uses. It helped me try other herbal teas that turned out nice for taste. By searching, quick references are provided. It does go on about history and explanations more than I cared to read, but is very complete for a reference.
