It wasn't totally awful
Derived From Web , May 16, 2021
It was very bad. The Alex Cross and Women's murder club series were all bad, and this one was even worse. A few minutes after the tough homicide lieutenant says Oh Daddy, she shows up at her door. To sneak up on the killer, the police converge with their lights and sirens. It was a way to sneak up.

Page turning thriller
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2020
This is the second book in the series and it was a page turning thriller. Lieutenant Lindsey Boxer and her Women's Murder Club mates, Cindy, Jill, and Clare, are drawn together to solve a case involving a sharp shooter who's terrorizing the city. The twists and complications in this case are typical of Patterson intrigue. Good characters and short chapters make this a good read.

This is early Patterson, where he does all of the writing
Derived From Web , Sep 15, 2019
You should read this book if you haven't done so already. In this book, the only thing that is written is by Patterson. There is a criminal on the loose and the books follow a pattern that is common in his work. The girls talk about clues and lack of. The criminal is caught by the boxer. The world is happy after. The book was very good even though it was following a pattern. It is interesting to see a woman writing and looking at the world from a woman's point of view. I'm going to work my way through all the books. It will be interesting to see if Patterson develops as a writer and if the co- authors improve the writing. I anticipate seeing how they develop.

A not bad story
Derived From Web , Dec 12, 2018
The writing at chapter 3 reminded me of a high school kid's, so I almost gave up reading. Too many words stopped me from reading. I had to highlight them. This guy is not a Lee Child. Is writing 101 show not telling? And these women are so sweet. The story was easy to read after all. I' ll be following the fortunes of the gang of four into the next book.
