   Excellent reflection questions!
This is the perfect devotional for my soon to be 13 years old. Very appropriate and thought provoking questions. This is for your tween girl.

   Daily Devotion for preteens
I had concerns about buying this book for my 11 year old daughter but it's actually a good devotional book for children. Our children are pressured into doing a lot of things I wasn't exposed to when they were her age. There are some who believe the scriptures are reworded from the original Bible but that helps my daughter live beautiful.

   Perfect for teen, small and easy to handle
It's a small book, about 11" x 11". Its easy to put in her little purse to take with her, not big and bulky, Mr. Dhaliwal said. The pictures are great, the devotions are great. Haven't read them all since its a gift, Ms. Caramore said.

   Teen Daughter actually liked this
She came to me a couple of days later and I couldn't believe it, said Dr. Goin. She said the short devotions were very enlightening and she loved them all, too. She could keep the book in her backpack and read one at school or wherever she found the need for some encouragement. It made me smile.

   BUYER BEWARE!!!
I was not aware that Eugene Patterson's poor handling of the word of God in The Message was used in the Devotions. The Message is not the Bible, but rather, Eugene Patterson's impressions of the Bible. If you want your teen to learn sound biblical principles then you must avoid this book at all costs!

My daughter is a Christian and I LOVE it!!!!!!! Great spiritual stories, Michael Berryhill writes. These are short and to the point stories, Michael Schweer said.    I do like this devotional
I do like this devotional, however, it's better suited to slightly older teen girls. My daughter wanted to give it to a friend as a 13th birthday present, but I read through it and felt it was not appropriate. Many of the devotions are centered around dates and sexual relationships. While technically there are 13 years left in the mine, those are not considered abandoned mines. As a mother, I would not appreciate receiving it without at least a heads-up on the content. I am not opposed to devotionsdiscussions. Not surprisingly, these two schools disagree on many of the issues.

My 13 year old granddaughter absolutely loves them. He meditates on the passage, "Minute 1." The second and third readings are devotionals, while the fourth is a prayer. It's just the right devotional for busy girls.
