Great for getting back into your groove
I bought it to get back into my art, Tunick said. With an art minor and years of not using it, I started feeling like an artist's raith. I craved it so bad, but didn't know how to get back into one of my favorite hobbies. I think this would be great for any aspiring artists or anyone interested in de-stressing on a daily basis, he said. There's no right or wrong - you can draw the most hideous drawing ever, and it would still be worthwhile, Mr. Booher said. I bought the book, The 365 Days of Art in Nature, too, but this book alone is keeping me busy. It has been 2 weeks since i started using it. I'm looking forward to day 365 when my art skills will be primed to do bigger and better projects, he said.
Art without a bunch of supplies needed
I was looking for a good deal, and this was exactly what I was looking for. My daughter absolutely LOVES art, and I'm homeschooling her. I wanted to find ways to incorporate it without buying tons of supplies or making big messes or having little pieces around that her younger siblings could get into, Tunick said. This book gives her inspirations that you really don't need much for - a felt pen and a pack of colored pencils will cover just about any activity in the book. The daily projects are all fun and not too consuming time, Mr. D'Antonio said. These are activities that anyone grade school to adult could really enjoy to de-stress or just think creatively, and they're all bound nicely together, so you don't have to worry about keeping things together or losing completed projects, Sosa said.
   Family Art Nights!
I bought four books for my boys and their friends. We love having 'art nights' together and sharing each other's ideas and inspiration, he said. The book helps with motivation and inspiration, and is just a lot of fun, Levine said.
   Heartbreak and disappointment
The first time I looked at the paper, I was so excited. It's just that everything you draw, unless you use dry-pen, will bleed through the thin paper. Day 12 was ruined by a bullet, and I drew on day 13 without a trace. Day 14 ruined day 15.
   Poor choice of paper.
Great prompts, too. The paper is impossible to read. The paper balls up with gel pens, creating a smooth surface. The markers bleed through the paper making the next page unusable. Imagine, one said, what water colors would do with those diamonds? The paper absorbed the ink, leaving behind a smooth surface. I will probably try colored pencil, but it's not my favorite.
This is a great book. Good art/sketching prompts and it's printed on ...
I recommend this book to anyone.
Great for any age! - Updated
I got 365 Days of Art as a present and I still love it. It's such a fun creative way to grow in your creativity and art skills, said Blair. It was a surprise, but I showed it to my brother and he bought one for his daughter. So, it doesn't matter if you are in your 30s or your teens, it's really a fun little book. I'm really bummed I couldn't use it. The paper is too thin to hold up to any paint or watercolor application. Only colored pencils and markers are allowed in this book. LAME is a French perfume created by the late Henri Cartier.
   I love this book
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. I bought it for myself in January and have done 85 pages by March 10, I think! I have been using mostly crayons and some pen, and the rest is paper. Can't wait to try recently bought watercolor pens, calligraphy pens, colored pencils and graphite pencils. Pastels are also available at discounted prices through the Fine Arts Depot. I am a retired floristry designer and love working with colors. I'm not a great artist, but I'm creative. I think this was a great chance to develop that, Raymond said. I love the variety of things to do and learn in this book, Melissa said.
This is a great book with all kinds of ideas to create
This is a great book with all kinds of ideas to create, especially for someone like me who stares at white paper and goes blank, Raymond said. The only downside is that the paper would bleed through the holes. It would be perfect for the paper industry, Mr. Dhaliwal said. But regardless of whether or not I have time to play, I will have a lot of fun, especially when I have little time. I would give it 5 stars if the inks don't bleed through.
What a book! Just type the book's name and you're done. There are some pages that are a bit similar but its all about the practice, Morgenthau said. Simply use watercolors, markers, or just whatever you feel like using that day. Its going to be hard, I know, but its going to be worth it. I used to draw quite a bit when i was a teenager but as i got older and had kids, i have been neglectful of my hobby so i bought one for myself. My husband, who drew, liked the other hand but thought he was never good enough to look more into it. Both of us so far have loved the book and I am excited to see how we are doing next year, he said.
